AWL is proud to support the amazing White Lodge charity in Chertsey, and this Christmas, we donated £3,000 to help fund the vital services they provide.
White Lodge provides services that enable those with a range of disabilities, their families, and carers to lead fulfilling lives.
We have also signed up a team to take part in the upcoming White Lodge golf day at Kingswood Golf Club, Tadworth on 27 April 2023. AWL will also be sponsoring one of the tees on the course. This is the second time we've taken part in this excellent fund-raising event, and we are delighted to be involved once again.
About White Lodge
The charity supports over 2,500 individuals across Surrey and beyond through a diverse range of services for all ages and abilities.
White Lodge is based on a wonderful two-acre site in Chertsey in three specialist buildings with great facilities and services for all ages that include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, specialist nursery, hydrotherapy, holiday clubs, personal support in the home, short breaks (respite), fitness and rehabilitation and many activities such as art, baking, swimming, and much more.
Through individual assessments, their teams of highly experienced staff enable those with disabilities to reach their potential through tailored programmes. It costs over £2.5 million a year to run and the costs are not fully met by statutory funding, so they do rely on voluntary donations to maintain vital services.
