Warm greetings to all. I sincerely hope our latest and last blog for the year finds you all safe and well.
Yet again, I sit here writing and struggling to believe how quickly this year has gone. The nights are drawing in, year-end and winter will soon be upon us. As I reflect back on the year, I have to say 2021 has been a period that has seen some excellent growth for us as a company.
Our sales and operational teams continue to grow. New business gains are landing at our door. And even with the much talked about haulage delays, fuel increases and border issues, the general feel is one of positivity as we tip towards 2022. I guess this must be the optimist in me and the UK as a nation – onwards and upwards!
UK PLC is performing at levels above expectation. What is there not to be optimistic about?
The winter booster Covid vaccine programme is moving fast, which gives us all hope that lockdowns are a thing of the past. Hopefully, we can get through the winter without having to endure another one! UK PLC is performing at levels above expectation, and new free trade deals continue to be worked through. So, what is there not to be optimistic about?
On this note of positivity, may I take this opportunity to thank all of you, our customers and partners overseas, for your much-valued support. It really is appreciated. May I wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year 2022.
