A Season of Continued Expansion for AWL

Greetings to all our friends of AWL. I hope this latest edition of our blog finds you all very well and enjoying the summer, which here in the UK has been incredibly warm and sunny for most of it so far. Very unusual, I must say, but very welcome nonetheless.

Â
I wrote at the end of Spring about the issues with US tariffs and the uncertainty it has brought to global trade. Sadly, I believe we are all still feeling the effects as this 'new era' starts to take shape and 'normalise' for want of a better word.
Â
Continuing with a sunny theme, though, and as always, a positive one… Our half-year figures are finalised and show us continuing an upward trajectory with growth coming from all regions. This is a result of our continued desire to invest in our future as one of the largest independent forwarders in the UK market today.

Â
You will read that both Glasgow and Manchester offices have relocated to larger facilities, as well as new team members joining due to our continued expansion in these regions. I am sure that over the coming months, we will be reporting on other regions that require us to do the same. This is down to the incredible efforts shown by our excellent regional operational and sales development teams, which I certainly believe are among the best in our industry.

Â
An optimist by nature, and as much as global trade has its uncertainties at this moment in time, I am looking forward to a very successful third quarter for AWL. As we move into the last part of the year, I may wish the same to all of our readers and followers - onwards and upwards!
Â
And may I leave you with this note until the next time: if there is hope in the future, there is most certainly power in the present. Â
