A wonderful summer, and a strong mid-year performance

Good morning, good afternoon, or indeed good evening, wherever our latest blog finds you reading our latest edition.

A little late this time, for which I apologise, but it has been yet another extremely busy year as we find ourselves full steam ahead into September, with the school summer holidays here in the UK now behind us.

If you recall, I mentioned back in June we were in the middle of and as we thought at the time, the only heatwave we would experience this summer. But as I type, we have had a further four heatwaves where temperatures have achieved a constant +35 degrees for more than five days at a time.

It really has been one of the best summers we have had in as many years as I care to remember - absolutely fabulous! Not mentioning global warming just yet. I need to see this kind of summer for the next 5 years at least before I can make it official. For now, they are the kind of summer I used to enjoy in my youthful years and thought were long gone.

Revenues, staff numbers, and even some of our physical locations continue to grow and expand

I also mentioned the Football World Cup was about to start way back in June which resulted in England finishing a very credible third or Bronze Medal Winners at the tournament. Not bad at all! Scotland not so good although their fans went down a storm in the USA I am told.

So, with the wonderful summer and a fine performance at the World Cup, we all had smiles on our faces which made for a great mid-year Regional Management meeting held here at LHR in July where all managers came in for a full agenda of topics reviewing their regions achievements, sales development, new recruits and expectations for the remainder of 2026, just to name a few.

Revenues, staff numbers, and even some of our physical locations continue to grow and expand as we react to customer demands along with overall growth in performance across all regions. It is great news all round and bodes well for a very strong finish through to the end of the year.

Until the next time, happy reading and remember if you improve by 1% every day, within in a year you will have improved by 365%. Just think about that!
