Well people, where did that first quarter go?
Here we are, with 2023 well and truly in play, and I am very proud to announce that we have received full accreditation for both ISO 9001 and 14001. This is a massive achievement for our company - an official recognition of our professionalism and credibility as a forwarding and logistics organisation. And quite rightly, we wish to shout about it! You can read more about it here.
In our last blog, I touched on the global economic woes which were on the horizon and the expected downturn in global economic trade. But, I’m happy to say that UK PLC has not quite seen the slump predicted. Nor have we, here at Advantage Worldwide. We continue to attract new business via the combined efforts of our sales and business development team, along with our extremely strong overseas agency network.

We’ve already travelled far and wide this year. We’ve attended network conferences in Thailand and Cambodia, with further trips planned to Vietnam and the USA in our proactive efforts to promote the AWL brand. Onwards and upwards!
As a final note, one development I believe is extremely important for UK PLC is the signing and acceptance of our membership to CPTPP. This is the biggest trade deal signed since our departure from the EU, and we are the first European country to do so. You can read more about this historic occasion in the blog.
